EVANGELISM

We have an overflow of reaching out to as many people as we can so that we make Christ known to the unknown. This is in obedience to the great commission “Go into all nations and make disciples of all men.” This we do by sharing God’s faith with unbelievers through preaching, evangelistic outreach, personal witness or being involved in practical, social outreaches that share the love of God with people.

To effectively carry out the above mandate, we are looking at acquiring equipment to enable us reach as many people as we can. This involves mega tents, evangelism tracks, and sound Systems

DISCIPLESHIP

Jesus told his followers to make new followers all over the world. Discipleship means helping new followers to grow and become more like Christ. It’s not only teaching about God but also helping them to understand His word, becoming friends with Jesus, and teaching them how to make new followers themselves. When these new followers get better in their faith, they can tell others about the Gospel and make the world a better place. It needs investment and commitment from mentors, pastors, and other followers to help new followers get better in their relationship with God. The reward is great, to be part of God’s plan. Let’s remember Ephesians 4:15, speaking truth and love will make us mature people who lead others closer to Jesus.

CHURCH PLANTING

The importance of church planting cannot be overemphasized! Here at CFEM, we firmly believe that this is the most crucial strategy for the growth of the body of Christ. In line with this belief, we have made it our mission to continually plant new churches, spreading the message of the gospel far and wide.

We understand that evangelism often takes us to areas that are far from our church’s home base. However, it is essential that we provide spiritual covering for the newly converted individuals who result from our evangelism efforts. We want to ensure that their growth in faith is nurtured and supported every step of the way.

Additionally, we are committed to teaching these individuals about the importance of servanthood. We encourage and equip them to offer their unique gifts and services to God and the church as a whole. This holistic approach to church planting sets a firm foundation for the growth and expansion of the body of Christ.

ESTABLISH ACADEMIC SCHOOLS, BIBLE SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES

One of our objectives to attain our ministry vision that evolves around fulfilling the great commission, is church planting. In this regard, CFEM strongly believes that there is great need to biblically equip men and women who will carry out the pastoral tasks with diligence, knowledge and understanding. The Bible school shall enable the trainees to read and interpret the bible, get the skills to interact with believers as they shepherd the church. These equipped men and women will pastor the churches planted from time to time. Hence the plan to have a bible school /college is ongoing as we put together resources to ensure the same.

Consequently, establishing academic schools with a Christian foundation is also our objective. This will enable kids and students learn academically and also grow in Christian faith and practices.

SOCIAL PROGRAMS

CFEM believes in Church and Community cohesion. We live in a world where many people go through difficulties and challenges. It is the position of the church to step in and help both materially and spiritually. The community around us has widows/widowers, orphans, homeless, the sick, drug addicts, ex-prisoners etc and the best language that all these can understand is love and compassion. The church should be an oasis of hope, love and support to these people in the society. This is what our Lord Jesus expects from us Matthew 25: 35 -36 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.

We therefore involve ourselves in community programs to support in one way or the other regardless of their background.

ST PETERS MIC COMPLEX SCHOOL BUKEMBE

Historically, the school is in Kenya, Bungoma County, Kanduyi Sub County, Bukembe location, Bukembe Market. The school was birthed after the post-election violence of 2007 in Kenya, which displac ed many families leaving many children orphaned and vulnerable. Bungoma County was one of the safest places in Kenya, hence many displaced persons sought refuge in Bungoma. This skirmishes Iasted for three month before peace and order was restored. Even after that many families could not go back to their homes, this introduced another group of People identified as IDP (internal displaced persons), some their homes were totally burnt, parents and relatives killed, their land taken by their enemies. All these vulnerable groups, widows, orphans and HIV/Aids victims came to our church pre mises, CFEM (Christian Fellowship Evangelistic Ministries) this was a monumental task to us as a family and Ministry, which demanded us to step in to Minster Christ’s love and compassion, refuge and practical help.
This one problem has many needs e.g. shelter, food, medication, education and clothing, so it is one big eternal investment to change and better their lives, re-align their lives back to God’s purpose, and give hope to the hopeless. We have no reliable, sustainable resources to run this grand Ministry, but we depend on God, friends and well-wishers’.
The school is having 120 orphans and 160 vulnerable children staying in a small compound, 14 teachers and 8 support net staff.
We registered the school with the Ministry of Education in 2010. In the year 2016 we had our 1st attempt of 14 kids sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education and all passed their exams.
Needs:
Kids are in short of food, clothes, shoes, clean water, good buildings, salary, fees, land for extension.
